I ordered a set of mudguards and mudflaps from Ark for my 25 TRD Pro Tacoma. They came nicely packaged with easy instructions and being Pro/Trailhunter specific was a plus as all the other brands are generic fitting or specific for the lower trims. Upon install I noticed I was missing one small metal clip which made the install possible but not 100% complete. One quick and easy email fixed that. Arks customer service was excellent, they didn’t hesitate to send me out a new clip at all. A+ for the company’s product and A+ for their customer service.
The mudflats fit perfect. I went with the Red lettering and it matches the TRD Pro red perfectly. Great purchase.
I installed the Ark splash guards and mud flaps on my ‘25 Tacoma TRD Pro. It was an easy install, perfect fit without drilling, and they look great! I would highly recommend using the Ark splash guards and mud flaps over OEM options or any “universal “ fitting products. Ark offers way better engine bay coverage and paint protection than OEM options!
Not sure why the Trailhunter didn't come with mud flaps, but these fit the bill nicely. I got this set in addition to the crash bracket deletes. In the install for the crash bracket delete it mentioned a high clearance mud flap that does not seem to be available, or I would have gotten those. The front flaps did take some modification to make them work with the bracket delete but nothing too terrible, just had to drill a 1/2" hole in each and trim the inner most mounting hole to allow room for the bolts holding on the bracket delete. The splash guards are a nice tight fit. The only flaw was I had to cut out a small piece on the drivers side front splash guard to make it fit flush (see photo).
Provides better coverage than OEM. As a bonus they look good too. Wish they di a set for the rear.
The Mud flaps were easy and quick to install. All hardware and directions needed were included and they're cut for variability between trucks for more precise 'custum fit' adjustment. They probably took a half hour total to install. The coverage is great. I have not installed the splash gaurds as yet, but I expect the same.
The micro splash gaurds look amazing, but they don't work very good because they are so small, I wish I got the big ones.
Simple to put on. Instructions were fairly easy to follow and so far it has done a good job. One of my favorite purchases for my Taco so far

I went with the full size flaps and the splash guard for my 25 Tacoma with a 2.5 OME lift. Flaps went on easy and fit with very little struggle, the second side was considerably easier than the first. The splash guards needed some trimming with the lift I have but no biggie (leave the guard/flap in the sun or warm it up and it's much easier to cut with a utility knife). After the trimming and some persuasion with the stock felt liner, they went in looking good.

The Tacoma Trailhunter has a design flaw in that the body design and the wheel offset create a situation where the front tires throw rocks and debris directly at the front side of the rear wheel fender flare. I had at least 40 chips to the paint in that area in the first 1000 miles. Very frustrating! The OEM mud flaps did nothing to catch that debris. These mudflaps by ARK have solved the problem. Also, the service was fantastic. My original shipment was missing a few of the hardware items and they responded in a chat immediately ON THE WEEKEND and had the parts to me asap. Have not had a chance to install the splash guards yet but have installed the mud-flaps.. they do offer good coverage for the sides of my truck but they have a funky way on attaching them to the wheel wells. They work and are still there but the mounting system is something that could be improved greatly.. the use of spacers or a preformed piece between the flap and the wheel well liner that would take up all the air space would be a lot better option and some better screws that would not strip out as easy. I also had to egg out a few holes to get all the screws in..for over 200 dollars and made in the USA they should be just about perfect and they are not..just a little more tweaking and thought process for the mounting area would make them great.. soon I will be installing the splash guards and hopefully they have better attaching hardware
These are by far the best guards and splash shield around. Full coverage for the trail hunters aggressive tire poke. No more worries about mid rocks flying up the sides. These are by far the best coverage for anyone with tires that poke out past the factory guards. Money well spent IMO.
