Posted again since my honest review was taken down:
Bought these and was excited since there is a large gap opening on the Tacoma 24. After i installed them within two weeks i would get all my dash sensor lights on, took it to the dealership and they said the Right Speed Sensor was faulty... After 2 months waiting for the back ordered part and driving with all dash lights on it went away. During that time Ark sent me another set of splash guards due to them noticing this was causing issues with the speed sensors because it didn't have much space in between the guard and the cable. I installed the new splash guards, they finally replaced the right speed sensor and everything worked. Again within three weeks this time... i get all the dash sensors again, took it to the dealership. This time it was the Left speed sensor now that was showing as the issue, they come back and show me the cable is spliced and causing a shortage. After going back and forth with the dealership because they were refusing to replace it due to after market parts damaging it, they agreed to replace the sensor free of charge. Till this day 4 weeks later i am still waiting for the back order part again. I email Ark to advise them that this product is still causing issues, but no one cared to respond or acknowledge my email over a month ago. I don't recommend this product for any Tacoma owner. Stick with the gap opening for now.
Hi Frank,
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We take all reviews very seriously and work to improve our operations and products based on customer feedback.
You are correct. Upon recognizing the issue, we issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) to all customers of the product, modified the drawing to allow for additional clearance, and provided free updated replacements to all customers. Additionally, in both the TSB and updated instructions, we specifically highlighted the need to inspect the VSS clearance after installing the splash guards and to modify or trim the splash guard as needed.
Following your review, we have confirmed that the updated '24 splash guards from late June '24 have adequate VSS clearance. However, we still advise all customers to inspect product clearance not only for our products but for all aftermarket components installed on their vehicles, as product alignment can differ from vehicle to vehicle.
