The price point and the product video had given me peace of mind when making the purchase. The material seems like it’ll hold up for a long time. If you’re looking to buy I’d recommend ordering directly from ARK as they have best price at checkout and fast shipping.
I have Ark splash guards and like those this set of micro flares are very well made, good looking design and easy bolt on install after I lost my mud OEM mud flaps off roading.
I did a complete clean wash on the truck then installed these and while I’m sure they do offer some protection against some stray rocks and side spray, it’s likely pretty minimal and I still get plenty of spray up the sides from the tires. And I’m sure plenty of rocks as well when I put it in some real dirt
I almost went with their full mud flaps for the rear but they just looked like way too much, I still want to keep the clearance pretty high.
I dig the design of the flares and I think an easy re-design could take these from somewhat usable to really effective.
My suggestion would be to keep the cool angles and give me a hybrid between these and your mudflaps.
Make them go full width in the wheel well and extend down past the cab maybe 3-4 inches would still have a cool low profile look and be more effective.

I’ve had the Ark Micro Flares on for about three weeks now and I am impressed. Super easy install. They are small and low profile yet keep spray and road grime off my paint. I live in Southeast Alaska where we get more than our fair share of rain.
I will be getting another set for the wife’s 4Runner.

They look amazing! But super nonfunctional, as expected from its size. I did notice that the plastic slightly warped in the inner part that bolts on. Still looks good though!
