The thickness of the material is awesome. You can tell it is very sturdy.
The passenger side splash shield on my 2012 Lexus GX460 fit pretty close, but I had to drill out their "joining" rivet and spread the two pieces apart about another 1/4" to make everything line up, and even then it was still a big struggle.
The driver side splash shield fitment was much worse. The half of the shield closest to the front seems like it may have been the wrong piece or something. I had to drill several new holes and some parts are not secured.
Overall, the material quality is great and these will last a long time. The fitment was not great, but was acceptable with some modifications, however when I'm paying this much for some rubber pieces, I don't think I should have to modify that much.
Great craftsmanship and high aquality product. Easy installation and it looks great. Had to reuse the OEM fastener for the last step as the included fastener did not fit the hole but works just fine. Definitely not a deal breaker and I highly recommend this product. Awesome work!
These installed perfectly once I had the correct version (KDSS) to cover the bracket present on the left front. Because this is one piece instead of the two original guards adding the extra fastener at the top makes sense, and that does require drilling with a 5/16" bit. I also chose to add two more fasteners over the bracket, again a quick drill in two locations. All of the pre-drilled holes fit without modification and the guards look great. Thank you.
Really nice thiccc material. Rear of the guard lines up perfectly, the front not so much. Like the 2 other reviews I had to drill a couple holes and massage things a bit. Broke a bunch of the clips too because things were ever so slightly off. I think you guys need to modify your template a bit.
Pretty much the title. For reference I have a stock 2017 Lexus GX460. Overall I think great quality materials used, and I like that they gave you a ton of the plastic fasteners because they snap often.
However, I would say an 'exact' fit is a bit of an overstatement. It doesn't seem like they fit at all until you position them around a little bit. The back half of both the driver and passenger sides align decently well with the holes actually, but the front half really did not. I think I ended up drilling 2-3 holes in the guard to line up, and I considered cutting part of it off to make it fit.
Overall though I ended up making them fit just fine, and I won't have to worry about snow/salt/dirt getting into that part of the vehicle. They look pretty good, and they seem to be durable and good quality so 4 stars.
