Installation is generally easy, though some reported rear fitment issues with misaligned holes. While the low-profile design looks sporty, several customers noted limited splash protection compared to full-size options. Excellent customer service highlighted.
- Really durable, almost a quarter inch thick and I love the style of the small flair
- Easy install, great looking and are doing the job well
- Does a surprisingly great job; I don't hear nowhere near as many rocks bouncing off the truck

Hate the look of huge mudflaps, I really like these micro versions, holes all aligned easy install
Never thought my truck could look so gangster. Added these along with the crash bar delete to fit 35’s. Makes this truck look amazing.
They look great and are super rigid. Once you get the hang of the install after the first one, they're super easy to get on. Happy I found these! Thanks for the great customer support, too!
I looked at a bunch of options and I am glad I went with these. They look good, they're functional, and you're supporting a small business. If you're thinking about it, just do it!
I wanted a mud flap that wasn’t dragging the ground but would still catch stray rocks. This does a surprisingly great job; I don’t hear no where near as many rocks bouncing off the truck. Easy install and working with the crash bar delete kit.
Obviously not expecting complete protection going with the micro but covers enough. Easy install. Rear flap wholes didn't line up with molding but easy enough to correct by cutting out some material with a knife. Like the look (25 Trailhunter)
Happy with my purchase. Bought the micro flares more so for aesthetics than functionality. Hole alignment was exactly, but short screws were more difficulty to install.
Product quality, installation instructions, and ordering processes were GREAT!
I ordered the micro size for a more non obtrusive look, however I was not satisfied with the mud/water/snow fling protection, so I ultimately ordered the full size set. Unfortunately, this means I paid twice. If you want to keep the side of your truck clean… get the full size set from the start. I have a Tacoma Trailhunter
Fit great and not bulky looking on the truck. Over all impressed by the way they look and protect from some rock chips
Easy install, great looking and are doing the job well.
The figment on the rear guards was off a bit.
Great looking piece. Install was easy once I realized you screw into the female plastic grommet. I messaged them and they guided me and in 5 min I was done. Looks great!
Product as described. Fit just ok doesn’t really conform to wheel well. I think expensive for what you get. Low profile looks good, sporty, not much splash protection. I would go with OEM next time.
I had an issue with shipping where my package got lost the company immediately sent out a new order free of charge, amazing customer service, and amazing product
Front was not easy installation pain in the ass not a perfect match
Hi Wilson, We're sorry to hear about your installation experience. The front Micro's have 3 bolts on each side, this should be a 2-5 minute install at most. If you could please share more details (sales@arksplashguards.com) regarding how this was such a pain, I'll gladly do what I can to make this right of you. Jason
Not only do they look great on my Tacoma, but they actually work.
This is the second Tacoma I installed them on, but I put them on my Forerunner also. Great customer service, I had a damaged package from the shipper, they sent me a new set!!!!!
So the factory mudflaps are larger and bulky -- these are thin and trim and sleek. But the factory mudflats and mounting bolts fit, align, and come together like a glove against the mounting holes. These are nice (and I love the look) but they just don't have the fit (and final finish when mounted) of the factory units. I can live with that for the overall way they make my truck look. But, since the fit is just not as clean, they are more of a pain to install (the holes aren't quite as optimally aligned, the plastic isn't molded to the contours of where they mount perfectly, the supplied flathead bolts aren't at the same thread pitch as the factory units, etc) -- but those are acceptable tradeoffs once mounted for the look. It looks awesome!
Need to modify the rear micro mudguards to fit properly. Front fits fine with no issues.
Hi Christopher - Thanks for taking the time post the review. The micro's should fit perfectly without modification, and I'm happy to help find a solution which could result in us sending you out a new rear set - if this was a mfg defect. Please reach out to me at sales@arksplashguards.com and we'll work to make this right for you - Jason
Like them alot, fit perfect, look great
Looks nice but doesn't do much in the way of blocking mudor snow from hitting the vehicle.
I like that the mounting holes lined up well, however one of the mud guards has a rough outer edge, like flashing from the cutting process and looks unfinished.
It looks great I had to bore out a couple of the pre drilled holes just so that the bolts lined up better and the overall fit was an even better snug fit then how it came. Very minor detail. Made with a stiff quality composite! Doesn’t move or fold in the wind. I think it looks good and does the job as expected for its size!
Looks awesome on my Taco
Was not easy to matchup the holes and get the short screws in. Does not not sit flush to the wheel well as it should. They look great but I doubt the functionality of the micro guards. Time will tell.
Great product that is substantial and well made. The provided instructions were good overall; however, they indicated that you should remove the factory installed bolts and use those provided with the kit. The 2025 Tacoma has only one bolt to remove and plastic plugs that you have to put the supplied hardware into. Again, a great product for the price.
